NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
THE BRANCH A.G.M. WILL BE HELD ON
SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY 2023 AT 11:30 HRS

Nominations for committee positions are invited for the roles of President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and general committee members. Examples of the type of work undertaken by each role is at the bottom of this page.
Nomination forms are available below and from the Club bar.
Any member wishing to submit any motion for consideration/discussion at the AGM must submit that motion in writing to the Secretary by 23rd January 2023.
Items may be left with Club bar staff for collection by the Secretary or posted to Secretary, RBLS Dunbar, 147 High Street Dunbar, EH42 1ES.

President | Ensure Good Governance; Branch Ambassador; Arbitration; Non-Voting |
Chair | Chair meetings; represent Branch at Area/Conference; etc |
Vice-Chair | Deputise the Chair; represent Branch at Area/Conference; etc |
Treasurer | Produce monthly management accounts; annual accounts; etc |
Secretary | Membership management; Attend committee meetings, take minutes & publish in timely manner. |
Committee Members as required | Organise events post parades; fundraising events; outings; etc First point of contact for members for access to RBLS welfare services; attend breakfast clubs; condolence cards & vouchers. Represent Sub-groups interests at committee meetings & provide leadership. Organise Armed Forces, Remembrance & Armistice parades; appoint Standard Bearer/s; drill nights. Lead the Building Works Project; develop a planned maintenance schedule; etc |
